Welcome to Acumen //

Acumen is a progressive and environmentally aware practice of designers & architects based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire
working throughout the United Kingdom.

We undertake a wide variety of work ranging from house extensions to exclusive one off houses, commercial, retail,
industrial, mixed use, master planning and Conservation projects.

Our approach is simple - we aim to bring quality design to every commission under our direction within a
commercial budget.

We work where needed with other members of the design team being either our partner organisations to offer
a multi disciplinary service or external consultants as the individual project dictates. This ensures our services
are tailored to your requirements.

The practice is overseen by Jeremy Child who working with Acumen’s established team bring their
collective experience to each and every project.

Whilst many practices choose to bombard existing and prospective
clients with marketing material, we prefer our projects to speak for
themselves which in turn leads to many client referrals.
